The Boulder Police Department in Colorado is planning to hold a public memorial service for slain officer Eric Talley on Tuesday morning.
In a statement posted on Twitter on Monday, the department announced that it will livestream Talley’s memorial service online. The service is also expected to be broadcast on local news stations.
Attendance will be limited due to COVID-19 restrictions in place. The department also shared two links where people can donate to Talley’s family.
Talley was one of the 10 victims in last week’s mass shooting at a supermarket in Boulder.
The Boulder shooting and the shootings at a series of spas in the Atlanta area a week earlier in which eight people were killed have led to a new round of debate on gun reform in Congress.
