Friday marked the sixth straight night of protests following Wright’s shooting by former Brooklyn Center Police officer Kim Potter.

Potter allegedly shot Wright during a traffic stop. Authorities later claimed that she meant to reach for her Taser, but grabbed her gun instead.

Shortly after the incident, Potter resigned from her post at the police department.

Demonstrations have largely remained peaceful, but some protestors this week began throwing objects and attempting to break a fence surrounding the Brooklyn Center Police Department.

About 100 people were arrested during Friday’s protest after for not following a dispersal order. Others were arrested who brought weapons.

These arrests come after 24 people were detained on Wednesday for rioting and violating the 10 p.m. curfew.

Another 72 were arrested in demonstrations on Tuesday.

Potter has been charged with second degree manslaughter, and her first court hearing was held on Saturday.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 17.
