Disturbing video emerges of ex-NFL player abusing woman
A video has surfaced appearing to show former NFL running back Zac Stacy violently abusing his ex-girlfriend in front of their 5-month-old son.
In the video, which was obtained by TMZ Sports, Stacy starts to swing at his former partner’s head during an argument at her place before grabbing her off of the couch and tossing her across the room into a TV.
The unidentified woman is seen through the video begging Stacy to stop.
The TV falls on top of her as she tries to calm down Stacy, before he throws an object at her and storms into a corner.
TMZ reported the woman called authorities after the altercation, but Stacy left before police could arrive.
A 2013 fifth-round pick out of Vanderbilt University, Stacy spent three seasons in the NFL playing for the then-St. Louis Rams and the New York Jets.
According to a restraining order reportedly filed on Monday, the woman said Stacy came to her residence over the weekend to visit their son but that he flew into a “violent, jealous rage” while there.
“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” the woman said in her complaint.
The woman also wrote Stacy told his son “I love you” as he left her residence, adding that she is in “fear for my life and my children’s lives.”
The woman went to a medical facility to be treated for a possible head wound, as well as bumps and bruises from the altercation, TMZ Sports reported.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and TV analyst and former defensive end Chris Long were among those who shared their thoughts on Stacy’s video online.
“Crazy to play w someone for a couple years & you have no idea what kind of bullshit they do at home,” Long said in a tweet.

I’m not retweeting the video but ZAC STACY NEED TO BE THROWN UNDER THE JAIL. Any man that puts his hands on a woman is a coward. Can’t believe what I just saw.
