BAE Systems promoted Reggie Robinson to senior vice president for government relations. Robinson, most recently vice president for executive branch and international government relations, will oversee the defense contractor’s relationships with Congress, the White House, the Defense Department and other executive branch and state-level leaders.

“As a key member of the senior leadership team, Reggie will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policy makers to create a favorable environment for BAE Systems, Inc. to operate and grow,” said Tom Arseneault, BAE Systems president and CEO, in a press release.

Before joining BAE in 2014, Robinson retired from the Air Force as a colonel after a 20-plus-year career that included stints at the State Department and on Capitol Hill.

The Aerospace Industries Association added Di Reimold as vice president of civil aviation. Reimold worked in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for more than 30 years, most recently as deputy vice president of flight program operations.

Airlines for America landed Kevin Welsh as its new vice president of environment and chief sustainability officer of the airline trade association and lobbying group. Welsh was previously the executive director of the FAA’s Office of Environment and Energy and the National Security Council’s director for climate and environment.

Former Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette will be the new president and CEO of the Edison Electric Institute, the electric power industry trade association. Brouillette was deputy Energy secretary from 2017 to 2019 before rising to lead the Department of Energy through the end of former President Trump‘s administration.
