Lobbying World: Cornerstone snags DNC chief

Cornerstone Government Affairs is adding Hyma Moore, chief of staff to the Office of Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Jamie Harrison, to its public affairs team. Moore has previously worked as the DNC’s battleground states press secretary and on several high-profile campaigns, including President Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

John Rizzo has joined Nvidia as head of public policy communications. Rizzo was most recently a senior vice president at CLYDE, and his resume includes stints as a senior spokesperson at the Treasury Department, director of communications for Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) and deputy communications director to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).

Graham Owens is now the executive director of the Rare Disease Company Coalition. He most recently worked as the regulatory and oversight counsel for the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee. Owens was previously president of Delta Agriculture and director of regulatory, tax and domestic economic policy for the National Association of Manufacturers.
