Lobbying World: House Appropriations Committee staffer heads to Cornerstone

Former House Appropriations Committee staffer Jenny Neuscheler is joining the federal government relations team at Cornerstone Government Affairs on July 8. She was most recently clerk on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies, and she previously was a professional staff member on that subcommittee and the subcommittee on transportation, housing and urban development and related agencies.

Reggie McCrimmon is joining Crossroads Strategies as senior vice president. McCrimmon held government relations and public policy roles at Google and Twitter, which is now called X, and was director of member services and external affairs for the Congressional Black Caucus.

Brian Wheeler is now a partner in Foley & Lardner LLP’s San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. He joins the firm’s Transactions Practice Group and Innovative Technology and Health Care & Life Sciences Sectors. Wheeler most recently was general counsel and head of corporate development at HENI.

Brandon Farris is now vice president of government affairs at the Steel Manufacturers Association. Farris was vice president of domestic policy at the National Association of Manufacturers and is a Chemours and House Agriculture Committee alum.

The Alliance for Automotive Innovation, an auto industry trade association that represents automakers, has hired Lauren Collins as director of safety policy. Collins is a MITRE Corporation alum and previously worked as a contractor at the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.

Narrative Strategies has hired Samantha Martin as a senior director, Abbey Lower as a director and Emily Krigsman and Sandeep Kumar as associates. Martin was director of strategic communications at FGS Global and held a senior communications role at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, and Lower is a longtime Republican National Committee staffer.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has added shareholders Nicole Ament and David Cohen as new members of the firm’s executive committee.
