Roger Ailes’s name will be removed from a newsroom at Ohio University, and the former Fox News Chairman and CEO’s $500,000 donation will be returned.

{mosads}The decision comes less than two months after Ailes’s resignation following a sexual harassment suit leveled against the 76-year-old by former host Gretchen Carlson.

“Given the allegations against Mr. Ailes, the circumstances surrounding his departure from Fox News, I’ve decided to return his gift and remove his name,” Ohio University president Roderick McDavis said in a statement.

Tom Hodson, the director and general manager of the campus-based WOUB, said the newsroom is “pleased” with McDavis’ decision.

Ailes graduated the school in 1962. He made a $500,000 donation to the university in 2007.

Last week, Fox News’ parent company reached a $20 million settlement with Carlson.
