Apple CEO Tim Cook on Sunday tweeted his support for immigrants in the U.S. as President Trump weighs putting an end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

“250 of my Apple coworkers are #Dreamers. I stand with them. They deserve our respect as equals and a solution rooted in American values,” Cook tweeted.

Trump will make an announcement on Tuesday about the future of DACA, which temporarily protects undocumented citizens who were brought to the country as minors.

The term “Dreamers” was originally coined to refer to those of migrant background who would have benefitted under the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act), though it has been used by some public figures to refer to DACA recipients.

Cook has attended meetings at the White House but has stepped up his criticism of Trump, including committing $2 million to anti-hate groups and condemning racism after Trump’s controversial comments about the violence in Charlottesville, Va.

Cook also said that he tried to get Trump to keep the U.S. in the Paris climate deal and pushed Trump to show more compassion for immigration issues, including DACA.
