HP partners with FireEye to provide cyber services

One of the world’s most sophisticated cybersecurity companies is partnering with Hewlett-Packard to offer its services on a broader scale.

FireEye and HP announced their collaboration ahead of a major security conference in San Francisco.

The partnership will also make the services of FireEye’s top-notch breach investigative team, Mandiant, available to a wider market.

FireEye offers security assessments and post-hack responses to governments and corporations around the world.

The firm’s researchers have also uncovered a variety of Russian, Chinese and other cyber spying campaigns, and are considered authorities on nation-state hacking.

Their latest report, released over the weekend, accused Russian spies of exploiting previously unknown vulnerabilities in Windows and Adobe Flash software to launch a highly targeting espionage campaign.
