The report warns that the military is vulnerable to
disruptions by relying on foreign countries, whether its due to poor manufacturing, price
spikes or unrest.
{mosads}The industry study also argued that the U.S. is not producing
enough raw materials, pointing to the rare earth element that’s imported from
China.
The manufacturing group unveiled the report Wednesday at an
event with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) and Rep. Tim
Ryan (D-Ohio).
