PETA wants Army to investigate sheep-beating video
The
graphic video, which was posted on LiveLeak.com and has more than 98,000 views, shows
a man in civilian clothing beating a sheep repeatedly in the head with a
baseball bat as a handful of men wearing Army pants watch, hooting and hollering.

The description on LiveLeak says it was shot in Afghanistan.
PETA sent a letter to Army Secretary John McHugh asking for
an investigation, but said Friday it had yet to hear a response.
PETA’s president, Ingrid Newkirk, posted an update on the
group’s website Wednesday that said the Army told them they had not received their complaint about the video.
An Army spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.
