Report: Israel teams with Iranian terror group in assassinations

The report quoted U.S. officials as saying the Obama
administration is aware of the assassination campaign but does not have any
involvement.

{mosads}Mohammad Javad Larijani, a senior aide to Khamenei, told NBC
that Israel’s secret service, the Mossad, is training and paying members of the
Iranian dissident group.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry declined comment, saying in a
statement: “As long as we can’t see all the evidence being claimed by NBC,
the Foreign Ministry won’t react to every gossip and report being published
worldwide.”

MEK released a statement last month saying that its involvement is “absolutely
false.”

Last month’s assassination, the fifth Iranian scientist killed
since 2007, further enflamed tensions between Iran and the West, as the United
States and its allies seek to stop Iran from pursuing nuclear weapons and Iran
has threatened to retaliate against economic sanctions and any potential military action.
