Two US troops killed in Osprey crash in Morocco
Two troops were killed, and another two were taken to a
military medical facility in Guelmim Province, about 450 miles south of Rabat, according
to Reuters.
{mosads}Ford said the crash occurred during a training exercise with
a Marine expeditionary unit and the Moroccan military, The Associated Press
reported.
The Marines were in Morocco for an annual joint
U.S.-Moroccan military exercise called “African Lion.”
The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey is an aircraft that takes off
and lands like a helicopter and flies like a fixed-wing plane.
