Pentagon investigating after Navy submarine, cruiser collide
{mosads}Fleet Forces said the damage to both ships is being
evaluated, but the propulsion plant of the submarine was not damaged in the
collision.
The ships were being evaluated for damages after returning to
port Sunday. The USS Montpelier docked in Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in
Georgia and the USS San Jacinto arrived in Naval Station Mayport in Florida.
