US bombers fly over Korean Peninsula
The United States military flew two B-1B bombers over the Korean Peninsula on Tuesday, The Associated Press reported.
South Korean officials said the flights were intended as a show of force as part of routine exercises with the South Korean military, the report said.
{mosads}The flights come one day after Otto Warmbier, an American college student held by North Korea for 17 months, died in the U.S. after being released last week.
Warmbier had been detained in North Korea for allegedly attempting to steal a political poster.
Warmbier’s parents said their son had been in a coma for more than a year before his death.
