Alaska legislative aide joins gas pipeline organization

AGDC President Dan Fauske says Baker comes with “an impressive track record of success.”

“Miles’ extensive experience in the legislature, combined with his leadership abilities and industry knowledge, will be an incredible asset to AGDC,” Fauske said.

{mosads}AGDC is a quasi-state agency created to watch over the Alaska Stand Alone Pipeline Project, which would create an 800-mile natural gas pipeline in the state.

As the government relations and external affairs for AGDC, Baker will engage in community outreach, government and public affairs and other external communications.

Prior to working with Murkowski, he spent time in the Alaska State legislature, working for nearly a decade as the senior budget and appropriations staff for the Senate Finance Committee and as the chief of staff to State Sen. Bert Stedman (R).
