House puts reforming EPA reg process on January agenda
The House announced its plans on Thursday to bring forward a package of regulatory reform measures aimed at curbing the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulatory process.
{mosads}House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said in a statement the measures are a package of three bills from Rep. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), Bill Johnson (R-Ohio), and Bob Latta (R-Ohio).
Together, the bills “reduce the red tape inhibiting job creation and keeps our environment healthy,” Cantor said in a statement on Thursday.
They are aimed at improving the “federal and state relationship when dealing with hazardous waste.”
