The House announced its plans on Thursday to bring forward a package of regulatory reform measures aimed at curbing the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulatory process.
{mosads}House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said in a statement the measures are a package of three bills from Rep. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), Bill Johnson (R-Ohio), and Bob Latta (R-Ohio).
Together, the bills “reduce the red tape inhibiting job creation and keeps our environment healthy,” Cantor said in a statement on Thursday.
They are aimed at improving the “federal and state relationship when dealing with hazardous waste.”
The Hill’s Floor Action blog reported the news on Monday, detailing the package’s provisions here.
