{mosads}Royce is running against Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.), the chairman of the committee’s subpanel on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights.
The letter was signed by Reps. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.), Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), Tim Griffin (R-Ariz.), Michael McCaul (R-Texas), Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.), Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), Tom Marino (R-Pa.), Bill Johnson (R-Ohio) and Ted Poe (R-Texas). Ros-Lehtinen endorsed Royce earlier.
Three other Republicans who will be returning next year did not sign on: Reps. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.), Jeff Fortenberry (R-Neb.) and Mike Kelly (R-Pa.).
