US targets terror group accused of smuggling militants into Egypt, Libya

{mosads}The designation makes it a crime to provide material support to the Muhammad Jamal Network and freezes any assets it may have in U.S. financial institutions. Executive Order 13224, signed by then-President George W. Bush in 2001, also contains provisions to block or freeze tangible property.
