British PM to visit White House next week

British Prime Minister David Cameron will visit the White House next week. 

President Obama will have a working dinner with the prime minister at the White House on Thursday followed by a meeting in the Oval Office on Friday, the White House said in a news release.

The world leaders are expected to discuss economic growth, international trade, cyber security, Iran, the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL), counterterrorism, Ebola and Russia’s action in Ukraine. 

“Prime Minister Cameron’s visit highlights the breadth, depth and strength of our relationship with the United Kingdom, as well as the strong bonds of friendship between the American and British people,” the White House said in its release, calling the United Kingdom a “uniquely close friend and steadfast ally.”
