House panel postpones hearing with Benghazi ‘scapegoat’

{mosads}Four Americans died during the terror attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Maxwell has reportedly been blamed for not reading his intelligence reports, but Republicans say an independent State Department audit of the attack should have placed the blame on higher-ups.

He was scheduled to appear alongside a representative of the American Foreign Service Association and American Academy of Diplomacy President Ronald Neumann. Maxwell has filed a grievance with the association as well as with the State Department’s Human Resources Bureau.
