Man wearing Trump ‘Make America Great Again’ hat hit with milkshake during UK protests

A man who showed up to a protest in the United Kingdom wearing one of President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hats was hit by a milkshake as a crowd of demonstrators shouted “Nazi scum.” 

The scene occurred as thousands of people in London protested Trump’s state visit to the U.K. this week. 

Video of the incident, which was filmed by the radio station, Leading Britain’s Conversation, shows a man wearing a red MAGA hat feuding with a group of protesters. The man can be heard saying, “bring it on.”

Footage later shows the man rushing through the crowd after someone apparently ripped the hat off his head. A group of protesters then swarmed around him and repeatedly chanted “Nazi scum” before a milkshake hit him in the face. 

{mosads}Tensions appeared to escalate quickly, as protesters could be seen shoving the man as police and other demonstrators tried to contain the situation. 

As many 250,000 people were expected to turn out for protests against Trump in central London on Tuesday, according to reports. 

Protesters flew an inflatable baby designed to look like Trump over London during the demonstrations. The nearly 20-foot-long orange, inflatable baby took off in Trafalgar Square before a joint press conference with Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Trump has dismissed the protests against him as “fake news,” saying on Tuesday that his state visit has been meet with thousands of people cheering for him. 

British politician Nigel Farage, who formed the Brexit Party in March, was hit with a milkshake by a resident in England last month. A man was charged with common assault and criminal damage following the incident.
