Container ship explodes at port in Dubai
The United Arab Emirates media office said a container ship caught fire at a port in Dubai on Wednesday.
It is not yet know what damage the explosion caused or whether there are any casualties, The Associated Press reported.
Firefighters are working to control the fire at the Jebel Ali port that happened late at night, the city’s state-run media office said on Twitter.
Witnesses say buildings were shaking and those 15 miles away from the port could feel the impact from the explosion, according to AP.
Videos were posted on social media of the explosion and the efforts of the firefighters to tame the explosion.
