North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Monday toured Singapore and stopped to take a selfie with officials ahead of his impending summit with President Trump about Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons program.
Kim visited tourist sites Monday night, according to reports. CBS News uploaded a video showing Kim walking through the city with his security detail.

Kim also participated in a so-called selfie with Singapore’s foreign minister, Vivian Balakrishnan, who uploaded the photo to Twitter.
Kim’s ventures in Singapore come ahead of Tuesday’s historic summit with Trump, which will be the first meeting between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader.
Kim also stopped by the Marina Bay Sands, a hotel-casino owned by GOP donor Sheldon Adelson, CBS News reported.
Trump in May briefly scrapped the summit with Kim, only to later reinstate it after meeting with a top North Korean official.
The Trump administration is pushing for Pyongyang to dismantle its nuclear weapons program, an action South Korea has said Kim is willing to take.
Trump on Monday while meeting with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong predicted that his upcoming meeting with Kim will “work out very nicely.”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters in Singapore on Monday that the U.S. will only accept the “complete and verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.”
“So these discussions that’ll take place tomorrow between chairman Kim and President Trump will set the framework for the hard work that will follow,” said Pompeo.
“And we’ll see how far we get, but I’m very optimistic that we will have a successful outcome from tomorrow’s meeting between these two leaders.”
