The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for Monday’s attack at Ohio State University that injured nine.
{mosads}The terror group’s Amaq News Agency on Tuesday claimed the attack, carried out by an 18-year-old Ohio State student, was perpetrated by a “soldier of the Islamic State.”
Authorities have not commented on what motivated the attack but could not rule out the possibility of terrorism.
Abdul Razak Ali Artan hit a crowd of pedestrians with a car before stabbing several people with a butcher knife Monday morning on Ohio State’s campus.
Artan was killed by an officer at the scene.
Nine people were injured but are expected to make full recoveries.
