Cyber Command logo code cracked

A Cyber Command official told
Fabrizio the code is their mission statement, and said this code is simply part
of the symbolism in the logo and not a secret, a contest or a trick.

“The computer code ties the
command back to the early days of computer networking,” said Cyber Command’s
Public Affairs Officer Lt. Cmdr. Steve Curry.

The newly-established command
is tasked with safeguarding the country’s critical networks and coordinating
all offensive cyber-attacks. A group of military leaders involved in standing
up the command last week
emphasized the necessity of the offensive component and the severity of the
threat the nation faces from hostile states on the Web.
