FCC releases map of areas eligible for wireless funding

The funding will be distributed via reverse auction to wireless
carriers willing to provide 3G or better coverage in areas currently
unserved. The auction is scheduled to take place on Sept. 27.
The map is based on data from American Roamer, which shows census blocks that are both served and underserved by 3G or better wireless coverage.
