Public Knowledge hires FCC’s Christopher Lewis
{mosads}Prior to joining Public Knowledge, Lewis spent more than three years at the FCC and most recently served as the deputy director of the agency’s office of legislative affairs. He also advised FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski on legislative and political strategy and worked on issues ranging from net neutrality, privacy, spectrum policy and the National Broadband Plan.
Public Knowledge is an ardent supporter of net-neutrality rules and has been critical of new online copyright legislation.
Lewis, a graduate of Harvard University, also worked as the North Carolina field director for President Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
