Report: Microsoft faces EU antitrust complaint

Microsoft said in July that it failed to offer browser choice software to about 28 million Windows users as the result of a technical glitch. The company apologized for the error and said it had already taken steps to fix the problem.
Microsoft’s efforts to boost Internet Explorer also led to its legal battles with the U.S. Justice Department about a decade ago.
