Brazil detains Google exec for not taking down videos
{mosads}According to The Associated Press, a judge ordered Google on Tuesday to remove videos that comment on a paternity suit aimed at a candidate for mayor in the city of Campo Grande.
The company is also fighting an order to remove a controversial anti-Islam video.
A Google spokeswoman said the company is appealing the decision.
“[A]s a platform, we are not responsible for the content uploaded to our site,” the spokeswoman said in a statement.
