Trump dominates in Google searches after tough week
Donald Trump is dominating Google searches after a tumultuous week for his campaign.
Google said on Friday that in the previous 24 hours searches for the Republican presidential nominee significantly outpaced searches for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
{mosads}Top search queries of Trump included “What did Clint Eastwood say about Donald Trump?,” a reference to the actor’s comments that Trump is “onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up.”
Other questions concerned Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, and the size the real estate developer’s inheritance.
The top question about Clinton regarded the content of her emails, which were kept on a personal email server while she was secretary of State. Other questions concern her tax plan and whether she is dropping out of the race.

It’s been a difficult week for Trump, who was widely condemned for making critical comments about the parents of a Muslim American soldier who died in Iraq.
Later in the week, Trump made headlines when he said he wasn’t ready to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) who is facing a primary challenge.
Several polls have also shown Trump down against Clinton nationally and in key battleground states amid reports of low morale and conflict on his campaign.
