Yarmuth joins House Commerce; Butterfield to tech subcommittee
{mosads}Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) would move from the Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade Subcommittee to the Communications and Technology Subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over the Federal Communications Commission and a host of technology issues.
“Under the Democratic Caucus rules, any member has the right to demand a full rebid of the subcommittee selections,” Waxman explained in the memo. “I am hopeful, though, that this ‘virtual’ rebid can avoid the need for a formal rebid process.”
