Uber makes it easier for riders to see their own ratings

Uber is making it easier for riders to see how drivers are rating them.

Users will see their rating on a scale of 0 to 5 stars right below their names in the app starting Wednesday, the ride-hailing giant announced.

{mosads}The feature was previously buried within the app, and at one point users had to submit a request to Uber to see their ratings.

The ride-hailing company said that “things like eating in the car, slamming the door, or trying to pile in more people than seatbelts” can adversely affect people’s ratings.

“We hope this update will remind riders that mutual respect is an important part of our Community Guidelines,” the company said in a blog post.
