Twitter announced in an SEC filing Thursday that is aiming to double its revenue by the end of 2023.
The company also says it is aiming to have 315 million monetizable daily active users at that same time. The platform said it had 152 million users at the end of December.
Twitter has not previously set these kinds of long term revenue or daily user goals. Shares of the company rose slightly following the announcement.
The company is set to have one of its first events for analysts in several years later Thursday.
The goal of doubling annual revenue would require going from the $3.7 billion it made in 2020 up to $7.5 billion.
CNBC first reported on the goals.
