Transportation groups to hold congressional briefing about high-speed rail
{mosads}The event comes on the heels of a vote in California to move forward with a controversial high-speed railway that will be one of the largest in the country.
It is intended to preview the UIC’s 8th annual World Congress on High Speed Rail that will begin in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will join a panel at the rail congress on Wednesday afternoon.
