Foxx to resign as Charlotte mayor Monday
{mosads}Foxx is scheduled to formallly announce his resignation at a special meeting of the Charlotte City Council on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m.
The Charlotte mayor coming to the DOT at a time of constrained financial resources for road and transit projects.
He is expected to continue LaHood’s focus on developing new railways and public transportation options.
