Plane trouble delays North Korea rescue mission

A mission to rescue a pair of American citizens who were jailed in North Korea was delayed by mechanical issues that were experienced by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s plane last week, The Associated Press reports

{mosads}Clapper was delayed for a day on his flight from Washington to North Korea when the Air Force Boeing airplane he was flying on began experiencing trouble, according to the report.

The National Intelligence director was forced to stay overnight in Hawaii while the plane was fixed.

The problems with Clapper’s plane follow similar issues experienced recently by Secretary of State John Kerry.
