Tuesday’s meeting announcements: Nuclear panels to meet

Federal advisory committees are holding a series of meetings through the end of the year.

Here’s a look at what will be announced on Tuesday:

The federal commission for the Delaware River Basin is meeting in Washington Crossing, Pa., on Dec. 3 and 4. 

Also on Dec. 3, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s advisory panels on radiation protection and power uprates will get together. The next day, the commission’s panels for planning and procedures and materials and reactor fuels will meet in Rockville, Md. 

On Dec. 4, the Federal Communications Commission’s council on Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability is holding its second meeting in Washington. 

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s committee on systemic resolution is meeting in Washington on Dec. 11.

A federal panel on controlling salinity in the Colorado River Basin is also meeting on Dec. 11. 

The Defense Department’s policy board for reserve forces is meeting at the Pentagon on Dec. 12. 

The Fish and Wildlife Service’s council on wildlife trafficking is meeting on Dec. 16 in Washington. 

The Environmental Protection Agency’s advisory panels for an international commission on North American environmental cooperation are meeting on Dec. 17.

Also on Dec. 17, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s committees on gas and liquid pipelines will hold a joint meeting to talk about a proposed regulation. 

On Dec. 18, the National Institutes of Health’s review board for scientific management is holding a teleconference.

Starting Jan. 16, an Office of Personnel management committee on federal pay will hold 12 meetings.
