Here’s a look at the new meeting announcements:

NASA’s advisory committee on the International Space Station is meeting at the space agency’s headquarters on Jan. 7. On Jan. 22 and 23, the agency’s panel on applied sciences and aerospace safety will get together.
An Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) council on environmental education is meeting on Jan. 7, 8 and 9 in Washington.
The Justice Department’s review panel on rape in prison is holding hearings in Washington on Jan. 8 and 9 to identify common characteristics of victims and perpetrators of the crime.
On Jan. 14, a Commerce Department council on manufacturing is holding an open meeting to talk about its plans for 2014.
Also on Jan. 14, the federal interagency coordinating committee for autism is holding an open meeting in Bethesda, Md., to discuss an update to its 2013 strategic plan.
A federal advisory panel on energy efficiency and renewable energy is holding a teleconference on Jan. 16 to review focus areas for 2014 and other matters.
A Department of Energy panel on electricity is holding a conference call on Jan. 24.
An interagency committee on pain research is holding a meeting on Feb. 4.
The Food and Drug Administration is holding a meeting in College Park, Md., on Feb. 20 to discuss a major new effort to prevent terrorists from altering the country’s food supply.
The EPA’s advisory panel on the Clean Air Act is meeting in Arlington, Va., on April 3.
