NASA on Monday evening will attempt to crash its Double Asteroid Redirection Test spacecraft into asteroid Dimorphos to see if kinetic force can change the asteroid’s orbit.
The spacecraft is expected to collide with the asteroid at 7:14 p.m. ET.
