The Brookings Institution is slated to host an event this afternoon featuring the chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Martin Gruenberg. Gruenberg is expected to discuss recent bank failures and how to regulate large regional banks.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
