House GOP leaders present remarks alongside families of Hamas hostages: Watch live

House Republican leadership is being joined by family members of hostages held by Hamas on Tuesday, the one-month mark in the Israel-Hamas war.

Also in attendance will be Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.), who says he’s been involved in securing the safe passage of more than 250 Americans out of Israel, 77 of whom he says he aided personally while in Israel in October. Mills described these efforts as doing work neglected by President Biden.

Mills has also, however, made the unfounded claim that some of the victims of violence among the people of Gaza, including those killed, were paid actors.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday stated that any cease-fire of substantial duration would be contingent upon Hamas’s release of all the hostages.
