Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) is set to deliver remarks on Sunday, a day after the shooting at a Trump rally in Butler, Pa., that left one person killed and two others critically injured.

In the wee hours of Sunday, the FBI named the suspect in the shooting but offered no other details. Authorities said Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pa., was involved.

“This remains an active and ongoing investigation,” the FBI said.

Former President Trump thanked the nation on Sunday morning for its concern in the wake of an attempt on his life the evening before.

Remarks are set to begin at noon EDT.
