Former President Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) are set to make a joint campaign stop in St. Cloud, Minn., a generally Democrat-leaning state that the former president is aiming to win for the GOP.

The event comes as Vice President Harris has emerged as the former president’s likely opponent in the November election. Harris has since garnered the support of many notable Democrats and has reached record-breaking fundraising figures since stepping into the spotlight.

The Saturday rally follows a series of appearances Trump and Vance have made since the former president announced Vance as his running mate pick. The pair most recently stopped in Charlotte, N.C.

Biden was leading Trump in the Minnesota with 47.5 percent support to the former president’s 46 percent, per The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index. In 2020, Biden won the state by more than 7 percentage points.

The event is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. EDT.
