Vice President Harris and newly announced running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz took their campaign to Eau Claire, Wis., on Wednesday afternoon.
The duo visited the state the same day GOP vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (Ohio) holds a rally for the Trump campaign at the city’s airport less than an hour ahead of the Democrats.
Wisconsin is one of the pivotal seven big battleground states that could determine the winner in November’s election. Harris has already made one campaign stop in the state, which also hosted the Republican National Convention.
Harris’s event will also feature Bon Iver, the band fronted by Eau Claire-born musician Justin Vernon.
