Watch live: Biden gives Climate Week speech at Bloomberg forum

President Biden will address the Bloomberg Global Business Forum on Tuesday in observance of Climate Week.

The remarks are expected to review the efforts his administration has made to address the climate crisis, which a White House statement described as a record of “unprecedented progress.”

Clean energy development and the link between climate stewardship and job security in the manufacturing sector have been among the themes Biden has long put forward as priorities. Still, additional concerted effort by the U.S. and other countries would be needed to pull back from the widespread environmental impact that scientists predict based on current climate projections.

The president is slated to speak at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
