Watch live: Trump campaigns in battleground Michigan as early voting opens statewide

Former President Trump is in battleground Michigan Saturday afternoon, rallying voters in the “blue wall” state as early voting begins statewide.

During his visit, the former president is expected to blast Vice President Harris and the Biden administration for crushing inflation, housing rates and rising grocery and gas costs, according to the campaign announcement.

The event comes a day after he visited Traverse City, Mich., Friday night, where he defended his criticism of Detroit. It also follows his 3-hour interview with podcaster Joe Rogan.

With just over a week until Election Day, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows Trump and Vice President Harris tied with 47.9 percent support in the Great Lakes State.

Harris is also campaigning in the state Saturday.

The rally in Novi, Mich., is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. EDT.
