House Democratic leaders held a press conference Tuesday morning as criticism mounts over President Trump’s tariff agenda and sweeping overhaul of the federal government.

The presser followed Democrats rare bicameral forum, where lawmakers examined the Trump administration’s actions targeting Justice Department staff and major law firms as the party explores how to push back against the Trump presidency.

Their remarks, led by Democratic Caucus Chair Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.), also comes as infighting in the House GOP is threatening to undermine Republicans’ goal of passing Trump’s legislative agenda.

Their remarks were scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. EDT.
