President Trump is set to host an event in the Rose Garden on Thursday morning in honor of the National Day of Prayer.
The White House ceremony comes just months after the Trump administration established a task force and presidential commission seeking to protect Christians from religious discrimination. It also comes after the president marked his first 100 days in office, touting his agenda from the crackdown on immigration to sweeping tariffs to his overhaul of the federal workforce.
His remarks are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EDT.
